| In 2007 Mimran held an open competition for people to submit quotes for his billboards. He then chose the best ones an published them on prominent places in the heart of Chelsea. At the time I was the head preparator at Marianne Boesky Gallery. My co-worker, Brent Birnbaum, and I decided to enter. Together we came up with the best way to state this well known fact, then Brent submitted the quote. Once we recieved the email, we pleaded with Mimran that he publish the quote on 24th street.
